Aksinia Atanasova – born on June 29, 1970, in Belogradchik

In 2000, she graduated from the Dimitar Apostolov Tsenov Academy of Economics in Svishtov, majoring in “Insurance and Social Work,” with a professional qualification as an economist in healthcare and a specialization in health management.
From 1989 to 2007, she worked at the Belogradchik Municipal Hospital.
From 2007 to 2012, she worked at the Sofia Health Insurance Fund, and from 2012 to 2015 at the National Health Insurance Fund, where she held various positions, including managerial roles.
From 2015 to 2026, he held various expert positions in the “Pharmaceutical Policy” Directorate of the Ministry of Health.
